How to Display a PC on a 1080P Projector

Displaying a PC on a 1080P projector can be a great way to enhance a presentation or to allow for more viewing space for any on-screen project. A 1080P projector will project an image in high definition and will vastly improve the picture quality over most personal computers. By projecting a computer onto a larger screen, a user can accommodate more people at one time if needed.

Instructions

1. Connect one end of a USB cable to the back of the projector and connect the other end to an available USB port on the computer. Click on the "Start" button at the bottom of the screen and select "Control Panel" from the list of available options.

2. Select "Display" from the subsequent window and choose the "Settings" tab on the next screen. Select "Identify" for the computer to recognize each available monitor. Pictures of two different displays will appear on-screen.

3. Right-click on the display that is not blinking and select "Enable Display" from the drop-down menu. Click the "Apply" tab at the bottom of the window. The projector will now display the images from the computer screen.
