How to Replace Wiper Arms on a 2003 Honda CRV

You can remove the wiper arms from your 2003 Honda CR-V in minutes. If the wiper arm is damaged or bent, you can replace it with a new wiper arm to keep your windshield wiper system functioning properly. There is no reason to spend the money for a service-center repair. Buy replacement wiper arms from an auto parts store or Honda dealer.

Instructions

1. Turn off the CR-V's ignition and windshield wipers. Lift the wiper blade away from the windshield until the wiper arm locks into an upright position.

2. Remove the retaining nut on the base of the wiper arm with a wrench. Pull the wiper arm off the post.

3. Slide the new wiper arm onto the post. Replace the retaining nut and tighten it with a wrench. Lower the wiper arm to the windshield.

4. Repeat the process on the opposite arm. Test the wipers for proper alignment.
