How to Turn to Mute on a Sony Vivaz

The Sony Vivaz is a touch-screen based mobile cellular telephone. As with most models of cellular phone, the Vivaz features an audio "Mute" function that you can enable and disable at will. If "Mute" is enabled, your Vivaz will not play your ringer if you receive a phone call or an SMS text message. This can be beneficial if you're in public places or at an event where having a phone ringer go off could annoy people.

Instructions

1. Press "Power" to turn on your Sony Vivaz.

2. Tap the "Settings" main menu icon to load the settings application for your Sony Vivaz.

3. Tap the "Volume" option in the "Settings" menu.

4. Tap the "Volume Down" option until the volume meter on your Sony Vivaz will not lower any further.
