Instructions

      Remove hardware from the furniture.

    • 2

Sand the furniture well to remove the white paint and to prepare the surface.

    • 3

Wipe the furniture down to remove any dust that remains after sanding, taking special care to remove dust from any crevices.

    • 4

Prime the furniture using a primer that contains sealer. This type of product will say "sealer" on the label.

    • 5

Brush on a latex indoor house paint, following the wood grain, and allow it to dry.

    • 6

Apply a second coat of paint, and wait for it to dry and cure. The curing process takes about a week.

    • 7

Sand the whole piece lightly with very fine sandpaper to smooth out the paint.

    • 8

Apply a paste wax in a natural color. Rub it on the furniture, and buff it out. You may need more than one coat to achieve the desired shine.

Tips & Warnings
