On this page, you will see a picture of a full grown chicken, and it will be titled flock of chicks.

2. Click on the picture of the chicken, and it will take you to another page with more information about the value of purchasing a chicken for charity. The actual gift is a dozen baby chicks, and it costs $45. This is designed to be a starter flock for a needy family.

3. Add the flock of chicks to your cart, and proceed to the checkout.

4. View your order. The checkout page will provide an overview of your chicken purchase. Simply submit the order, and your gift will be delivered. You will receive a thank you card in the mail, along with a picture of the chicks you purchased.

Heifer International

1. Go to the Heifer International website. Heifer International is non-profit organization that provides those in developed countries the opportunity to provide aid for families in third world countries. Heifer International has multiple animals which can be purchased. The organization claims that a single hen can produce 200 eggs a year. This will provide nutritious food for a family, and the opportunity to sell or trade the extra eggs. On the right side of the Heifer International homepage will be a button that says "view gift catalog." Click on that button to be redirected to the gift catalog.

2. Find the picture of the baby chick among the available gifts. Click on the photo in order to view more information and make a purchase.

3. Choose a payment method. Heifer International accepts major credit cards, online checks, Paypal, Google Checkout and Amazon.

4. Submit your payment and review your order. Once you provide all your basic payment information, you can review your order and total one last time before submitting your order to the organization.
