How to Block Satellite Images of a Personal Address

Satellite images allow you to see parts of the world you have never seen before up close. This technology allows you to explore various streets in different countries and various cultures. Satellites can even show you a picture of a house as it was taken from the satellite view if you know the address. To remove images of a personal address from the satellite view, you must contact the satellite service and say you want it removed.

Instructions

1. Visit the website where the satellite image of your personal address is located. For example, visit the Google website. (See Resources)

2. Locate the link at the bottom of the page labeled "Report a Problem." Click the link.

3. Complete the form and type your address. Type your e-mail address. Tell the company to remove your personal address. Click "Submit."

4. Receive a confirmation e-mail within 24 hours.
