How to Display Photos on LCD Monitors
Displaying a photo on an LCD monitor is possible using a feature built into Windows called Photo Gallery. Photo Gallery, in Windows Vista and Windows 7, allows you to display a photo on your computer screen. The software even allows you to automate a slide show of your photos if you have more than one photo and to cause the photos to fill the screen, so that it looks almost like a digital picture frame continuously displaying a picture.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't have your photos saved to your computer, connect your digital camera to the computer. Windows will detect it automatically and ask you what you want to do with the photos stored on it. Select "Import pictures using Windows." The pictures will be imported and you can proceed from Step 3.
If you want the pictures to fill the screen, use the slide show function mentioned in Step 3. If you want just one photo to be displayed continuously rather than a slide show of photos, wait for that photo to appear and then press the "Space Bar" on your keyboard. This will pause the slide show at the photo you selected. Press the "Space Bar" again to start the slide show. If you have displayed your photos in slide show mode and now want to stop it, press the "Esc" button.
When you import your photos into Windows, it will offer to delete the photos from the source. If you don't want to delete the photos from your camera, be sure to choose not to delete them. Deleting the photos from source does not cause them to disappear. They are still stored on your computer, just not on your camera.
