How to Remove Vundo Ceh
Vundo Ceh is a variation of the Vundo Trojan. Vundo Trojans are a type of malware that affect computers using Microsoft Windows operating systems. Vundo is a Trojan because it imitates legitimate software. Once installed, the Vundo Trojan imitates a computer virus and then produces pop-up advertisements for removal software. These products are also malware. You can remove Vundo Ceh with a variety of malware-removal tools that are free and that you can obtain from the Internet.

Open an Internet browser. Navigate to the Bleeping Computer website and download the SmitFraudFix tool. (See Resource 1). Make a note of the download folder for easy access.

Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the "Shut down" button and select "Restart." Allow the computer to restart.

Press the F8 key when the Windows Splash Screen appears. Select "Safe mode with networking" from the menu that appears. Allow Windows to load into Safe Mode.

Click the start button and select "Computer." Navigate to the drive and folder containing SmitFraudFix.

Launch SmitFraudFix. Follow the on-screen directions to conduct a system scan. Allow the scan to finish. Interrupting the scan potentially damages system files.

Follow the on-screen directions to remove Vundo Ceh and other malware. Close SmitFraudFix and restart the computer.
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Open an Internet browser. Navigate to the Malwarebytes website and download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. (See Resource 2.) Note the download location for easy access.

Click the start button and select "Computer." Navigate to the drive and folder containing the downloaded file.

Double click on the file to begin the installation process. Follow the on-screen directions to install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

Navigate to the program folder where the software is installed. Double click on the launch icon for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

Follow the on-screen directions to update the software. Updates are regularly released to combat the latest malware threats.

Follow the on-screen directions to conduct a system scan. The scan takes several minutes to complete.

Follow the on-screen directions to remove Vundo Ceh and other detected malware. Close Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
Windows Live OneCare Safety Scanner

Open Internet Explorer and navigate to the Live.com Onecare Safety Scanner website. (See Resource 3.) Internet Explorer is the only browser that runs the scanner.

Click on the "Full Service Scan" button. Follow the on-screen directions to download the files needed to conduct the scan. These files allow Microsoft servers to scan your computer from the Internet.

Follow the on-screen directions to conduct the scan. The scan takes several minutes to over an hour to complete depending on the size and number of drives.

Follow the on-screen directions to remove the Vundo Ceh Trojan and other detected malware. Close Internet Explorer.

Do not download the software advertised by Vundo Trojans. These programs are malware and may further harm your computer.
