How to Make Construction Birthday Invitations
A construction birthday party theme is a creative option for a child who loves building with blocks, playing with pretend tools and enjoying toy dump trucks. Build excitement for your child's construction party by sending out themed invitations you create yourself. Draw construction themed shapes on card stock. Shapes simple to draw are a hammer, construction hat, tape measure or some street signs, such as a stop sign, yield sign or caution sign.

Cut out the images. These will be the actual invitations.

Decorate one side of the invitation with markers. The other side will be for the party information.

Word the invitations with some construction theme phrases such as "We're building birthday fun," or "Caution: Party Fun!" or you can use a play on words, such as "Come hammer out a good time at Josh's birthday." Get creative and silly for memorable invitations.

Mail your invitations, or hand deliver them attached to a small toy, such as a dump truck or plastic tape measure.
