How to Repair the Power Button Board on a Compaq Presario CQ50
If the power button board on your Compaq Presario CQ50 notebook computer malfunctions, you may not be able to turn on the computer after it turns off. Laptops turn off for a variety of reasons, including hibernation modes kicking in and restarting after operating system updates, so the chances are high that you won't be able to watch the computer all the time to keep it from shutting down. Fixing the problem isn't very difficult at all, as you only have to remove the keyboard and the keyboard cover to repair the power button board.
