Comcast Voice Mail Instructions

Comcast offers digital voice services to customers in the United States. As part of your digital voice service, you can opt to receive voice mail. Callers can leave a brief message when you are away for an extended period of time or you are unable to answer. Callers are also redirected to voice mail when your phone line is busy. Prior to using voice mail, customize your settings.

Instructions

1. Access your voice mail by dialing "*99" from your Comcast telephone. Listen to the voice mail system greeting.

2. Select a password and enter it on your phone's keypad when prompted. Re-enter the password to confirm your selection.

3. Record your voice mail greeting. Press the "*" key to confirm you want to use the greeting. Press "#" if you want to record the message again.

4. Wait for confirmation your voice mail was properly set up and hang up the phone.

Tips & Warnings

• Check your voice mail by dialing "*99" from your phone and entering your password.

• Change your voice mail password by accessing the voice mail system, selecting "Personal Options" and "Administrative Options." Select "Password Change" and enter your new password.

• Retrieve your voice messages from another phone by dialing your Comcast phone number and pressing the "*" during the greeting. Follow the prompts to listen to your messages.
