Instructions

    • 1

Download the Entropia Universe game from the Entropia Universe website. The website provides step-by-step instructions for downloading and installation (see Reference 1).

    • 2

Create your avatar. When creating your avatar, you choose a first and last name as well as a nickname that is visible to other users. You also adjust the physical and facial characteristics of your avatar.

    • 3

Begin play to increase your professional standing to "Unskilled." Your professional standing is increased by correctly utilizing the various weapons available to you. For instance, using swords effectively in gameplay allows you to become an experienced swordsman. Once you are ranked as "Unskilled" in any profession, you may become a mentor.

    • 4

Move your avatar to Port Atlantis. Port Atlantis is where new players enter the game.

    • 5

Locate a new player, or disciple, looking for a mentor. New players arriving at Port Atlantis wear orange jumpsuits and often look confused. Disciples must have a professional standing ranking of "Newbie" or "Inept." You may view a player's ranking by hitting the "K" key.

    • 6

Approach new players and ask if they are looking for a mentor. You communicate with other players by hitting the "Enter" key and then typing your message.

    • 7

A new player, or disciple, then either accepts or declines your request to be a mentor. You may take on up to 100 disciples at a time.
