How to Change Your AutoFill Address

The AutoFill function that is a part of the Google Toolbar helps people save time filling out forms by remembering personal information. It can save multiple profiles if you want to use a home and business address. A new address can slow you down if you don't know how to change the AutoFill information. Editing the address information in AutoFill takes a few mouse clicks and it gets you back up to speed when you fill out forms and shipping information.

      Open your Web browser and wait for the browser page to load before continuing.

      Click on the small gray wrench icon in the menu bar. This is the Google Toolbar icon, and it's where your AutoFill preferences are stored. Select the "AutoFill" check box before continuing.

      Select "Add New Profile" to create a new profile, which is useful if you want to have more than one address saved in AutoFill. To delete your old info and save your new address, click "Edit Profile."

      Enter in your new address information. This allows you to have more than one address saved in AutoFill. Then select "Save" to save your changes.
