Upload a database to a webpage by using the web services option in Access 2010.

Access 2010 has a web services option when the database is being saved. The database can be published to an existing Sharepoint web database so the Access database can be shared with multiple users in your network. The web databases are available as templates in Access 2010 and on Microsoft's website. The updates in the database are synchronized across the Sharepoint network once the database is uploaded.

Instructions

      Open Access 2010, and click the "File" tab. Select "Open." Browse the files and locate the web database. Click the database, and select "Open." The Access web database opens.

      Click the "File" tab, and select "Save & Publish." Select "Publish To Access Services." In the right task pane, enter the SharePoint web address and name.

      Click the "Publish To Access Services" button. The database published and uploaded to the Sharepoint server.
