      Clean the rusted areas thoroughly with your auto cleaning supplies and allow them to dry.

      Measure the area to be restored with your ruler and draw a line around it with your marker.

      Gently grind the area so the skin separates from the frame. Cut a slot for the air saw with your cutting wheel at the edge of the rusted area.

      Cut away the piece with the air saw. Cut out a repair patch a little bigger than the size of the measured rusted area. Transfer the dimensions of the original patch with a divider.

      Shape the patch with an edge turner and stretch it with a stretcher and hammer. Create curves with a press brake and weld the patch onto the area that was rusted.
