How to Remove the Console From a 2007 Toyota Tacoma

The Toyota Tacoma can have one of two types of center console. This depends on whether the truck has individual bucket seats or a single bench-style seat. How you remove the center console from the truck depends on the type of seats and console that you have. You will need to remove the console if you need to disassemble the truck's instrument panel and work on components from within.

Remove the two screws that are located behind the shift lever.

    • 9

Detach the console from the dashboard trim by pulling it away from the dash, and remove the console.
