How to Back Up HP Quality Center
Backing up important files and valuable programs is a necessity for even the most novice computer users. Use the Backup and Restore Center utility included in Windows to assist you in backing up software programs such as the HP Quality Center. The HP Quality Center is a software program designed for use by quality assurance professionals. Microsoft recommends using an external hard drive to store the backup of the program, however, you can also save backups to a DVD, CD or USB flash drive.

Connect the external hard drive to the computer.

Click "Start" and type "backup and restore" into the search field. Click the "Backup and Restore Center" result.

Click the "Set up backup" link. Select the external hard drive in the selection page and click "Next." Click the "Let Me Choose" option to open a file selection dialog.

Select the "HP Quality Center" filename in the list and click "Next." Click "Save Settings and Run Backup" to begin creating the backup files of the software.
