How to Link a Video to Your Website

If you want to make your website more entertaining for visitors, you should consider linking videos on pages of your site. Videos from sites like YouTube and Facebook will help to keep your visitors coming back and cause them to spend more time on your site. Browse to the Web page that contains the video file you want to link to or embed on your website.

Open Windows Notepad or another HTML or text editor program, then browse to the HTML file on your computer in which you want to insert the video link code. Open the file in the editor.

Scroll to the position in the HTML code where you want the video or link to display. Press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys at the same time to paste the code into the document. Save the file in the editor and close the program.

Browse to the control panel application for your website, then open the "File Manager" or other similar application. Upload the HTML file to your website.
