How to Beat Tower Defense
The "Bloons Tower Defense" is a free game created by NinjaKiwi Studios. Normally with tower defense games, you will have to guard a stronghold or a tower against an approaching wave of enemies. However, in this game, you make use of monkeys and towers to pop balloons before they get to the other side of the map. You lose a life with every balloon that passes and you lose the game if you lose all your lives. Fun and addictive, the game requires a bit of strategy for it to be beat.

1
Construct a "Dart Tower." This is the most basic kind of defense which is not actually a tower but a monkey that throws darts. These monkeys will be helpful in the early part of the game as you will not have much money at this stage.
-
2
Pop balloons to increase money. You will get more money as you pop more balloons. Money can then be used to purchase better towers or for balloon upgrades.

3
Use different types of towers. These include Tack Tower, which hurls darts in 8 directions; a Bomb Tower; an Ice Tower, which uses ice to pop and slow down surrounding balloons; and a Super Monkey which throws darts incredibly fast. All of these towers can also be upgraded, increasing your arsenal against incoming enemies.
-
4
Upgrade your towers. You can upgrade any tower by clicking on it. There are two options to choose from to improve your towers. For example, you can upgrade a Dart Tower by clicking on "Longer Range Dart," which increases the range or radius of throwing darts; or you can select "Piercing Darts," which can prick tougher balloons.
-
5
Place your towers where they can strike at multiple angles. Once you have enough money to purchase a tower, you can position it anywhere on the map. The tower is enclosed with a white perimeter, which indicates the radius of its attack. As you upgrade the tower, its radius will increase. This will allow you to hit distant balloons.
-
6
Blow up all incoming balloons. Once you position the towers, you will not be able to move them. Make sure to upgrade your towers as the levels go on. The game has 37 levels and you start at 40 lives.
