How to Access the Garmin C330 Hard Drive

The Garmin Street Pilot C330 is a CRT-type GPS device released in 2005. With numerous useful features such as an SD memory card slot and USB connection mode, the C330 is a popular choice on the inexpensive side of the GPS market. When you are utilizing the USB connection mode, you can access the contents of the C330's internal hard drive.

Things You'll Need

• USB drivers CD
• USB cable (included with C330)

Instructions

1. Insert the USB drivers CD into your computer's disc drive and follow the onscreen prompts to install them. Once the process is complete, remove the CD from the drive.

2. Connect your Garmin C330 to your computer via the supplied USB cable, and then wait several moments for your computer to recognize the device.

3. Open the Start menu, select "Computer," and then double-click "Garmin C330." You are now accessing the hard drive of your GPS.
