Instructions

  1. Configuration #1

    • 1

Locate the four holes on the carrycot sides designed for the snap locks to fit into. There are two holes on either side of the carrycot.

    • 2

Align one snap lock over one of the holes. Tighten the screw in the snap lock with the allen key/wrench. Repeat with the other three snap locks. Make sure the snap locks are rotated correctly so the screw holes are on top.

    • 3

Open the snap locks. Lower the carrycot onto the buggy frame. Align the lower snap lock on each side so it is resting on the frame just above "tube joint" that supports the back wheels.

    • 4

Close the snap locks by pressing them down firmly until you hear the lock "click."

    Configuration #2

    • 5

Locate the six holes in the carrycot's sides. Align one snap lock over the hole closest to the top of the carrycot on the left side. Tighten the screw in the snap lock with the allen key/wrench. Repeat with a second snap lock over the center hole on the same side of the carrycot. Make sure the snap locks are rotated correctly so the screw holes are on top.

    • 6

Align a screw and cover button over the lowest hole on the same side of the carrycot. Tighten with allen key/wrench.

    • 7

Place the sliding plate on the right side of the carry cot opposite the snap locks so the groove in the plate makes a "T." Sliding plate has four holes in it, but you will only use two of them to secure it to the carrycot.

    • 8

Align the top left hole in the sliding plate with the hole at the top on the right side of the carrycot. Line up the bottom right hole of the sliding plate with the lowest hole on the right side of the carrycot. Fit screws into these holes in the sliding plate, and tighten with the allen key/wrench.

    • 9

Open snap locks, and lower carrycot in place on the stroller so it fits between the side tube and the center bar. Lock the sliding plate into place on the center bar by lowering it down the bar until groove in the sliding plate locks into the lug on the center bar. Close the snap locks firmly until you hear a "click."

    • 10

Repeat process for the other Duo Single Carrycot, but place the snap locks on the right side of the cot and the sliding bar on the left side of the cot.

Tips & Warnings

  • Check to make sure carrycot is horizontally level and parallel with the ground which indicates it is installed correctly.

  • If you use your Mountain Buggy without the carrycot, prepare the buggy for carrycot installation by removing hammock seat, strap underneath seat, and unfasten dome. Remove the center bar if you will be using it in configuration #1.

  • If you own the Swift Carrycot, Urban Jungle Carrycot, or Duo Twin Carrycot use Configuration #1.

  • Use Configuration #2 if you own two Duo Single Carrycots and a Duo Mountain Buggy.

  • Follow all safety precautions and warnings in owner's manual to ensure the safety of your infant while using the Mountain Buggy Carrycot.

  • Only allow children under 19.8 pounds to use carrycot.

  • Discontinue use when child is able to pull into sitting position.
