How to Paint a Cute Pumpkin Face
You don't have to pull out a large knife to have beautiful pumpkins around your home this fall. Painting a pumpkin is a fun and kid-friendly way to have pretty pumpkins on your porch. You can paint a simple smiley face or an elaborate scene on anything from palm-sized pumpkins to a 10-pounder. Things You'll Need
- Pumpkin
- Dry-erase marker
- Acrylic paints
- Paintbrushes
- Clear sealer or varnish (optional)

Rinse the pumpkin in cool water to remove any dirt. Pat it dry with paper towels.

Using a dry erase marker, draw your design on to the pumpkin. If you make a mistake, gently wipe it away and start over.
