How to Rent an Apartment for Business Purposes

Renting an apartment for business purposes is a fairly straightforward process and can make conducting business with visiting clients cheaper. An apartment with a well-stocked refrigerator offers a place for visiting clients to stay much like a hotel but at a cheaper price. You can deduct the cost of housing and feeding your business clients in the apartment.

Instructions

1. Locate an apartment that is near your business. Look for a modern complex with some of the same amenities a client would expect to find at a hotel, such as a pool and fitness room.

2. Discuss the lease terms with the apartment complex's manager. Ask for a discount on the rent for paying the lease out in full.

3. Fill out the apartment application with your business' information. The apartment complex's management may ask for proof that you are allowed to sign for the company.

4. Sign the lease and pay the first month's rent or the amount you have agreed upon with the apartment manager.
