1. Log on to a flight booking site. This may be directly through an airline such as United or through a travel site like Expedia.

2. Choose your flight dates and location and follow any other requested steps to bring up flight listings.

3. Look at the flight listings and select a departing and return flight. This will lead you to a page showing the details of the flight. Typically in smaller print, the airplane type will be listed. Examples are the Boeing 747 and the Boeing 757. Choose your flight based on these listings. Click back to choose other flights if the selected one is not what you would like.
