Add a filter to your DSL line to remove line noise.

When using a landline with your DSL connection you may experience line noise when placing a call. That scratchy static that you hear is often due to a missing filter that is usually connected to your telephone, which removes the noise caused by the high-speed Internet service sharing the same line as your phone. Filters are included with your DSL setup kit, or can be purchased separately at your local electronics store.
