How to Hook-Up a Neon Light
A neon light is comprised of a series of neon-filled tubes within a plastic casing. Neon lights can come in a variety of sizes and shapes, but the steps to hook one up are rather similar. You may need to use a ladder in order to reach the location where you intend to install your neon light, so be sure to have someone else with you if you need to use a ladder. Carefully check the light casing and light tubes for any cracking or breaks. Examine how you need to hang or affix the light to the wall. Lay the sign aside.

Install hooks in the ceiling or bolts in the wall, depending on how your sign is meant to hang. Hang the sign, making certain that the power cord is hanging freely from the sign.

Plug in the sign. Adjust the flash speed, if applicable.
