Instructions

    • 1

Turn on your Cricut machine. Loosen the metal screw holding the blade housing in place by turning it counterclockwise. Swing the screw arm to the left after it has been loosened and remove the blade assembly.

    • 2

Remove the marker cap, then insert the Cricut ink into the blade assembly and move the screw arm back into place. Tighten the screw by turning it clockwise.

    • 3

Adjust the pressure to "3" by turning the top scroll wheel located on the left front of the machine. Adjust the bottom scroll wheel located at the left front of the machine to "2" to adjust the speed of the ink.

    • 4

Align the paper onto the cutting mat with the top right corner, paying attention to the way the arrow on the mat is pointing. Place the mat with the arrow pointing up, into the machine rollers until you feel resistance.

    • 5

Press the "Load Paper" button located on your key pad. Press the button coordinating to the image or letter you want the Cricut to outline. Press the "Cut" button. Allow the Cricut to draw the image you selected.

    • 6

Place a thin piece of scrap paper under the ink and remove the ink cartridge. Replace the ink pen with the blade housing. Tighten the screw and remove the scrap paper.

    • 7

Press the "Load Paper" button again, select the "Repeat Last" button and then press "Cut." Your Cricut will now cut out the image it just drew.

Tips & Warnings

  • To prevent the Cricut from cutting out the drawn-in details, such as eyes and lines; select the "Blackout" option from the key pad before cutting the image out.
