According to the El Paso Police Department website, not having any or enough information can increase the cost of the report copy, which is $6.00 for car accident reports and $.10 per page for criminal incident reports, as of November 2010. If possible, have the full name of a suspect or victim, the case number, the location where the incident occurred and the date of the incident on hand to expedite processing of your request.

According to the official El Paso Police Department website, requests made in person will require 7-10 days of processing time. When you make your request, you can opt to receive the results in person or have the city mail them to you.
