How to Crystallize Phone Covers
If you want to make your cell phone look more interesting and different, consider crystallizing the exterior. To crystallize a phone is to add crystals or rhinestones to the outside covering to make it glimmer and shine. Some services will do your phone for you for a fee, but for some phone models you can crystallize a phone cover in a few simple steps on your own.
Things You'll Need

1
Find a rubber phone cover, preferably one that closely matches the color of your phone. The rubber cover comfortably stretches over the phone and provides a safe surface for holding the rhinestones or crystals.
-
2
Place the rubber cover over the cell phone. Turn off your cell phone and avoid using it for at least six to eight hours. Place the cell phone in front of you on a table.

3
Spread out your crystals or rhinestones on a table. If you want various colors in a particular pattern, take the time to place the crystals on the table in that pattern first to match the size of the rubber cell phone cover.

4
Pick up the first rhinestone with a pair of tweezers and place a small spot of fabric glue on the back. Blow on it for a few seconds and then apply it carefully where you want on the cell phone cover. Add the stones to the sides of the cover first, then add the rest to the back of the cover.

5
Repeat this process with the rest of your rhinestones or crystals until the cell phone is completely covered. Allow the phone to dry for at least six to eight hours before using. If possible, wait a day to ensure that it has dried completely.

Tips & Warnings
If possible, try to find fast-drying fabric glue to make this process quicker.
Keep in mind that attempting to crystallize your actual cell phone cover could damage the unit and nullify your warranty.
