How to Add to a TomTom Database
One of the advantages of TomTom GPS devices is the ability to make manual corrections to a map. In addition to making the changes on your own map, other users can elect to download your map database changes to their own maps. Adding a correction to a TomTom map can be done right from the GPS device in just a few moments. When you connect your device to TomTom Home on your computer, your changes are uploaded to Map Share, the program that facilitates users' exchange of changes.
