How to Stop Beet Juice From Foaming
Juicing raw fruits and vegetables is a natural way to supplement your diet with vitamins and minerals. A study at Wake Forest University has shown that the natural bacteria in the mouth turn nitric oxide found in beet juice into nitrites. Nitrites increase blood flow to areas of the body with poor perfusion; most commonly the brain. Due to it's potent effects, beet juice should be mixed with other juices. One drawback to juicing beets is that the juicing process can form an unpleasant foamy layer on the top of the juice. This can be mostly corrected by taking a few precautions. Does this Spark an idea?
