The operating instructions for the Royal PDA are easy to follow.

The Royal company produces many different hand-held electronics, including a line of personal digital assistants, or PDAs. The Royal line of PDAs can be used to help you keep track of both your business dealings and your personal life through the use of a calender and memo system. By following a few simple steps, you can set up the device and then use it to easily keep track of your appointments and dates.

      Reset the Royal PDA before using it for the first time by using a thin object such as a pin tip or paper clip to press the small "Reset" button on the back of the device. Press the "Yes" button when prompted on the screen to perform the factory reset. Any data saved on the device will be erased at this time. A screen will appear asking you to set the date and time. Use the navigation buttons to move between the options and change the selection. Press the "OK" button when finished.

      Press the "Menu" button to enter the options menu when the device has powered on for the first time. Use the keypad to enter the number corresponding to the options on the screen, including contrast, language, auto-off and memory. Enter a number to enter the sub-menu for each option and press the navigation buttons to change the values for each one. Hit the "OK" button to save your changes and return to the menu. When all menu options are set to how you like them, press the "OK" button to return to the main screen.

      Press the "Key" button, which is shaped like a key, to enter the setup menu for your secret code. You will be prompted to enter a six-digit secret number using the number pad in the center of the control panel on the device. Remember the code you enter, as you will need to press it in every time you turn on the PDA or try to access information saved on the device. Press the "OK" button when finished.
