How to Use Calculator LCD Displays

If you have a calculator you've probably noticed that there is an LCD display at the top of the unit. This display is used to view the data input in the device. Even if you don't know much about electronics you'll find that the process of using and reading the LCD display on your calculator is fairly quick and straightforward.

Instructions

    • 1

      Turn the calculator on and use the number pad to input any calculations you would like solved.

      Press the "=" button, usually located on the lower-right corner of the unit.

    • 3

      Look to the LCD screen at the top of the unit. The sum of the calculation will be displayed from left to right across the LCD screen.
