How to Fold a CD Cover From a Sheet of Paper
A CD cover can protect your music or files from being damaged, but sometimes people lose the cases or covers in which they are packaged. A CD cover folded from a piece of paper is a quick and inexpensive way to protect the disc.
Instructions
-
-
1
Lay the piece of paper on a smooth, flat surface.
-
2
Place the CD at the top-center of the piece of paper so that half the CD sticks out past the paper's edge.
-
-
3
Fold in the sides to make flaps over the CD so the creases line up with the edges of the CD.
-
4
Take the CD out and place it on top of the paper and its folded flaps so that the disc is directly in the center.
-
5
Fold the bottom of the paper that extends past the CD over top of the bottom half of the CD. Pull out the flaps on both sides of just the section you've folded over so that it has "ears."
-
6
Fold the ears back under the bottom section. Take the CD out and then place it in the pocket you've made.
-
7
Fold the corners of the top section. Fold the top section over the CD. Tuck the top section inside the pocket.
-
8
Turn the case over and write whatever you want on the other side to identify what CD is in it.
