How to Download Full OAB in Outlook

"OAB" stands for Offline Address Book. An Offline Address Book is a file that is stored in Microsoft Outlook that enables you to have access to all your contacts and your contacts' information without needing to log in a central server. The Offline Address Book stores information like email addresses and phone numbers and enables you to write email to specific people that are sent when Outlook connects to the Internet again.

Instructions

1. Open Microsoft Outlook. Make sure you are connected to the Internet and to your Exchange Server.

2. Click the "Tools" menu item. Scroll to "Send\Receive" and then select "Download Address Book."

3. Choose "Full Details" under "Information to download." This option will give you more complete information regarding your contacts. The Offline Address Book will be downloaded onto the computer and be accessible via Microsoft Outlook.
