How to Sell a Continuous Product on eBay Without Re-Posting It

Sellers on eBay have the option of selling a continuous item without having to repost the auction listing. This process only works for the "Fixed Price" option; it does not work with auction-style listing. On an auction-style listing, the maximum number of days you can list an item without reposting it is 10 days. Selling an item continuously is ideal if you have a large quantity of the same item and you want to sell them conveniently.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit eBay.com and sign in to your account. Click on "Sell" to open the eBay seller wizard.

    • 2

Choose the category to place your item in. Select "Continue."

    • 3

Type the title for your auction, as well as the subtitle, if desired. If you're selling a media item such as a book or CD, you can also enter the ISBN or publication/release date.

    • 4

Add pictures to your listing, if desired. Create a listing description for the item. Scroll down to the "Choose How You Want to Sell Your Item" section. This is where you'll make the listing a continuous listing.

    • 5

Click on the "Fixed Price" tab. Under "Duration," select "Good Till Cancelled." This will ensure that your item does not end unless you manually choose to end the listing.

    • 6

Select the quantity, depending on the number of items you are selling. The listing will automatically end either when the number of items has been sold or when you manually cancel it. You can choose a number of items up to 99,999. Click "Continue" to review and confirm your listing.
