Instructions

    • 1

Turn off the water supply to the faucet. Access the water valves inside the shower wall through your access panel, or turn off all the water in the house by closing the incoming water valve, usually this is located near the water heater.

    • 2

Unscrew the small screw at the base of the faucet handle with an Allen wrench and remove it. Pull the faucet handle off the fixture.

    • 3

Take off the escutcheon cap (located under the handle) by unscrewing it from the base. Unscrew the three screws holding the cartridge to the fixture. They are located on top of the cartridge. Pull the cartridge out of the faucet head after removing the screws, by grasping it with your fingers or a pair of pliers.

    • 4

Install the new replacement cartridge into the faucet head. Replace the escutcheon cap and tighten it securely. Put the handle back on the cartridge stem and tighten the Allen head screw with the Allen wrench.

    • 5

Turn the water on to test the faucet. If leak returns, check the cartridge for damage and reassemble the unit.
