How to Add Shared Folders to a Linux VM Player
VMware Player is a free virtual machine program for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X. VMware Player is based on VMware's commercial line of "virtualization" products and doesn't include as many features. One feature not present in earlier versions but added in later versions is shared folders. The shared folders feature allows you to define a list of folders on the host computer, and VMware Player makes them available to the guest operating system as normal network shares.
