How to Downgrade IE8 to IE6
Internet Explorer first launched in 1995 with version 1.0 and is a popular Internet browser that comes pre-installed on most Microsoft Windows based PCs. Internet Explorer was running at version 8, as of 2010, with a version 9 beta available. Users of Windows XP with Service Pack 1 as an operating system find IE6 a more familiar version that loads quickly and has few bugs.

If you are running Vista or 7, you may wish to try Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome for increased browsing speeds.
Do not delete anything unless you are 100 percent sure you know what it is. In the "Add/Remove Programs" area, only uninstall Windows Internet Explorer when downgrading to IE6. Do not delete any other files with the name "Windows."
