How to Improve DSL Bandwidth

Though not every DSL customer needs a large amount of bandwidth, you may want to have a greater amount to play video games, download important data or even surf the Internet faster. Go to the "Start" menu, and choose the "Run" option.

Enter the term gpedit.msc, and click the "Enter" button on your computer keyboard.

Click your mouse on the "Administrative Templates" option. Then, navigate to "Network," and choose "Qos Packet Schedule."

Click on the "Limit Reservable Bandwith" function. Then, click "Enable."

Adjust the digit of your properties number to 0. Click the "Enter" button.

Reboot your laptop or desktop computer as well as your DSL modem to complete the process.
