How to Manually Restart a Quickfire Phone
The AT&T Quickfire is a touchscreen cell phone that slides open to display a Qwerty keypad. Like all cell phones, it can freeze up for various reasons, and in that case it is necessary to perform a soft reset to manually restart the phone. You can also perform a hard reset to restore the phone to its factory settings, which also restarts your Quickfire cell phone.

Soft Reset

Turn the phone over and press the release latch button.

Lift the battery up and away from the phone, then pull it out.

Wait for 30 seconds and put the battery back in the phone. Turn the phone on.
Hard Reset

Tap the "Menu" icon when the phone is idle.

Tap "Settings," "Security" and "Master Reset."
