If you have a postage-paid envelope from a business, it will be classified as Business Reply Mail, Qualified Business Reply Mail or Courtesy Reply Mail on the top right space of an envelope or postcard. Make sure the center of the envelope or card has the address of the appropriate recipient, and the top left portion of the envelope or card has your address, in case it needs to be returned to the sender.

Make sure the envelope or card is a postage-paid item and do not put a stamp on it. If you are unsure, check with your United States Post Office postmaster to ensure that you don't need to pay for postage. Seal your envelope once its contents have been filled and it has been addressed to the recipient.

To mail your sealed and addressed postage-paid envelope, simply put it in a United States Post Office mailbox drop or bring it to the nearest USPS office. Check the collection times of the mailbox drop to make sure your letter or card will be received on time.
