How to Making quiche
Quiche is a French dish composed of a custard made from eggs, milk or cream, which is baked in a pie shell. Other ingredients are often added to the egg custard to enrich the flavor, such as bacon, cheese, onions and spinach. Sweet quiches typically include cinnamon and sugar in the egg custard. This dish is an open pie, which means that there is no pastry covering the egg custard. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Chop onions and spinach into small pieces that fit on a fork. Set pieces aside in a bowl. Grate 1 cup of cheese and set aside.

Break the eggs into a large bowl, making sure not to get any shells into the bowl. Pour milk into the bowl with the eggs and whisk together until blended and the color is light yellow.

3
Place the spinach and onions into the egg and milk mixture and stir until well coated. Put the pie shell onto the cookie sheet for stability and pour the egg mixture into the pie shell. Sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.
-
4
Crumble the bacon on top of the egg mixture. It will naturally settle to the bottom of the pie shell. Sprinkle grated cheese over the top of the egg mixture.

5
Turn the oven temperature to 450 degrees and bake quiche for 10 minutes. This will stabilize the egg and result in a fluffy egg texture.
-
6
Lower the temperature of the oven to 375 degrees and bake for an additional 40 minutes. When you pull the quiche from the oven it should have the consistency of scrambled eggs and have a golden brown crust.
