Instructions

    • 1

Glue four decorative feet to the bottom of your ceramic pot, if it does not already have feet, to elevate the pot. Colorful glass rocks or painted wooden dowels will work to raise the ceramic pot. Attach the feet with waterproof adhesive. Let the adhesive dry.

    • 2

Drill a 5/8-inch diameter hole through the bottom center of the pot with a ceramic drill bit.

    • 3

Cut out a 1-inch diameter disc from the rubber sheet. Cut a slit halfway across the disc. Fit the power cord from the submersible pump through the slit in the rubber, 3 inches from the pump.

    • 4

Fit the end of the cord through the drilled hole in the ceramic pot. Place the pump inside the ceramic pot. Glue the rubber disc to the ceramic pot. Run a ring of silicone sealant around the outside of the disc, along the slit and around the cord. Let the adhesive dry.

    • 5

Fill the ceramic pot with water to make sure that it doesn't leak. If it leaks around the sealant, remove the water, dry the pot and seal it again.

    • 6

Attach the fountainhead to the spout on top of the pump. Extend the fountainhead to the rim of the ceramic pot. Fill the pot with water.

    • 7

Plug in the pump to start the fountain. The water spray from the fountainhead should fall back into the pot. Adjust the fountainhead as needed to regulate the spray.

    • 8

Camouflage the pump with decorative stones.
