How to Connect Plugs to a Sound Blaster Card
A Sound Blaster card is an audio card installed in many Windows based computer systems. A standard Sound Blaster card comes with audio input and output connection ports, which allow you to hook up speaker systems and microphones to the computer. Once hooked up you are able to produce audio through the speakers and even record audio via the connected mic.
Instructions

1
Plug the 3.5 mm cable running out of the speaker system into the "Line-Out" port on the Sound Blaster card.
-
2
Insert the 3.5 mm cable coming from the microphone into the "Line-In" port on the Sound Blaster card.
-
-
3
Power on both the microphone and the speakers. Do not place the microphone directly next to the speakers, otherwise you are going to receive audio feedback through the speakers (such as a loud squeak).
-
4
Double-click the audio icon in the lower, right corner of the desktop, then deselect any muted options. The speakers now produce any audio running through the Sound Blaster card, including sound captured by the microphone.
