How Can I Maximize the RAM for My Sony Vaio PCG-FRV25 for Speed?

Turn off the laptop. Remove all cords and cables. Wait for the device to cool down, which takes about 10 minutes.

Turn the laptop over and remove the battery. Remove the screw in the middle of the laptop with a screwdriver.

Separate the tabs on either side of the memory module. This releases the module. Slide the module out of the slot.

Match the notch on the new module up with the knob in the slot. Slide the new module in at a 45-degree angle. Press down so the new module lies flat.

Put the compartment lid back on and insert the battery. Plug the cables and cords back in and turn on the laptop.
