How to Advertise on Pizza Boxes
If you need a non-traditional place to advertise your business or service, pizza boxes can be an eye-catching option. Even the Transportation Security Administration has advertised its job openings on pizza boxes distributed in the Washington, D.C. area, according to Ed O'Keefe of "The Washington Post."
Pizza box advertisements are distributed in a variety of methods. Some companies offer a service in which they contract with manufacturers to produce boxes printed with clients' advertisements. The boxes are then purchased by independent and small-chain pizzerias and distributed to their customers with each pizza sold.
Other companies print pizza box toppers--glossy color advertisements glued to the top of the box--and contract with the larger chains to distribute the ads with their boxes in specific geographic locations.
