How to Install a HP 98X Cartridge

Install an HP 98X cartridge to get professional looking documents from your laserjet printer.

The HP 98X toner cartridge is used in the HP Series 4 and 5 laserjet printers. It is manufactured by Hewlett-Packard and produces professional quality black ink and graphics for the home and office. Installing a new HP 98X toner cartridge in your laserjet printer only takes a few minutes to complete.

Instructions

1. Remove the toner cartridge from the box and storage bag.

2. Grasp the tab on the right side of the cartridge and pull the sealing tape straight out.

3. Lift the top cover of the printer and point the arrow on the toner cartridge down into the printer. Insert the cartridge into the printer and press firmly until it clicks into place.

4. Close the top cover of the printer and press "Online" on the printer's keypad.
