How to Report Labor Law Violations in Louisiana

All businesses and government agencies in the state of Louisiana must comply with the labor laws set by the federal and state governments. If you are the victim of a labor law violation by your employer or if you're aware of a violation committed by another employer or employee, report it to the appropriate overseeing commission or government agency. In some cases, a state-level agency can help resolve the issue. In other cases, the violation must be reported to the federal government. If you're not sure if your situation is a violation of a Louisiana or a federal labor law, consult the Louisiana Workforce Commission at 250-342-3111.
