An automatic rifle is a powerful weapon.

Gun silencers are widely advertised to have the ability to turn the blare of a handgun into a mere muffle. This illusion is usually seen in your average gun fight in any given movie or sitcom scene. True enough the object of a gun silencer is to lower the sound of a gun when it is shot; however, the "bang" still has quite a loud volume to it. It is often assumed it is illegal to obtain a silencer for a gun. With the proper paper work completion and an eligible record, however, anyone can purchase and own a silencer for a gun.
